About Seaweed Studio
We are an apparel brand hand designed and printed in Marblehead, Massachusetts. We aim to produce comfortable and casual everyday clothing for all ages and styles. With a colorful and classic New England twist, our clothing represents the ocean lover, beach goer, vacationer, and adventurer in all of us!
When my three boys were young, I started designing & block printing t-shirts for them inspired by their little-kid obsessions with trucks, fish, lobsters, raccoons… whatever they happened to encounter in their daily worlds. I continue to be inspired by my kids, our small seaside community, and memories from my own Marblehead childhood.
It has been gratifying to provide my boys with options they are excited to wear and can identify with their day-to-day lives. Our simplistic designs speak to both kids and adults alike.
My goal is to continue spreading cheer to everyone through our original, wearable designs.

Why Seaweed?
Word on our street, is that the location of Seaweed Studio was once a summer rental for famed Beatles producer, Sir George Martin. Martin spent the summer of 1971 in Marblehead with his family and 1970’s band Seatrain (pictured) while producing their album, Marblehead Messenger. Parts of the album were recorded where we have our print studio! The band referred to our home as “Seaweed Studios”
